This is the most popular loose tea from the Zhejiang province, South of Shanghai. The name ‘gunpowder’ was given to this speciality tea because of its rolled leaves which appear as little balls.

When the loose tea leaves are brewed they crackle and unfurl to produce a traditional taste with a tangy aroma.
